The Way of the Househusband Chapter 1

The Way of the Househusband manga known also as (Gokushufudou) is created by Kousuke Oono. It first came out as a short series from February 23 to March 23, 2018, but people liked it so much that it continued as a regular series starting May 18 of the same year. There are now fourteen books of it. In North America, Viz Media decided to publish it in English in February 2019, and the first book came out in September that year.

The story is about a guy who used to be in a gang but now stays home and takes care of the house. They made a live-action TV show about it in 2020. Critics really liked The Way of the Househusband. One writer from Polygon called Yakuza goes Houseman “the perfect mix of funny and exciting” and “a great, silly manga to read.” Another review from Anime News Network gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars and said it’s “well-made and funny, with beautiful artwork and perfect timing for jokes.

The Gokushufudou anime series looked more like a moving manga than a real anime. Also, in the Chinese version, they took out all the tattoos because of TV rules there. They made a short online series of it in 2021 on Netflix, and a second season came out in January 2023.
